Brenics Transport - a specialist “Food Service Transporter”
In 1996 Brenics Transport commenced operation in Christchurch as a partnership between Gary and Barbara Johnstone. The company was later incorporated in August 1996. Gary and Barbara are very experienced transport operators and are committed to achieving the highest levels of customer service.
Due to the perishable and fragile nature of the products carried they have invested strongly in their capital equipment along with driver education and development.
Their focus is firmly on the food service industry, with produce ex Nelson collected in the afternoon and delivered to Dunedin and Invercargill Markets for sale by 6am the following morning. This has enabled Nelson growers to have their produce cut one day and sold in the southern markets by the next morning. Brenics have a long association with produce markets including MG Marketing, Turners & Growers, Freshmax and Fresh Direct.
They have also achieved a ‘quarantine approved cool store’ status and act as the Produce Distribution Centre for Foodstuffs (SI) Ltd and Delta Produce Ltd.
